Types of Buildings You Can Donate

Getting rid of a propertly like this can be a big headache and we are here to make it easy for you.

We accept both full building donations and single units/apartments within the building.

Single apartments within a larger apartment building residence can be donated, in the same way you might donate a house, so long as you are the owner, and not renter, of the property.

How to Donate a Building

  • Takes 3-6 weeks
  • The cost is free

Steps to Take

1. Tell us about your property

2. Our expert team reviews each property to see if it’s a good fit.

3. Sign the closing documents and return them to us.

4. Leave the rest to us as we take over all other property responsibilities, sending you a tax-deductible receipt.

  • Sales process – donating is much easier than selling and we handle everything for you.
  • The annoyance of changing bills and utilities
  • Avoid any payment of capital gains tax on the property’s final sale
  • Receive a tax deduction
  • Fast process
  • No cost to you

As surprising as it may seem, sometimes a donation is a better option for people than selling. Dealing with selling costs, property tax, other forms of taxes and responsibilities make a donation the better option. When you donate a property you receive about the same value as selling it back in taxes.

Our charity accepts donations from all over the US and Canada.
